I am Ayam. I know it sounds funny, but let's leave it at that. I am a kid. I am 9 and the youngest in my fourth grade class.This year I decided to learn languages. Why? I am intrigued by them. I am a passive bilingual, which means that I am bi - lingual (get it?) but in a passive way. I'd like to improve so I become truly bilingual. Another thing that intrigued me was that when I learned a little bit of Mandarin Chinese I saw how very different it is! But the most important reason for me to learn a new language is that my parents talk in French when they don't want me to understand what they are saying. That has to stop, so I am now learning French!  

I don't know how you feel about languages today but I encourage you to learn at least one foreign language as soon as you can!
